And finally we are thrilled to announce the launching of the web vault for the Czech Death Metal outfit Hypnos. It took some months to complete this piece of work since there was plenty of content to add (e.g. catalog, discography, music streaming, galleries, etc.). We are amazed about the great response we received from their fans enough to say that there were 200 new visitors in less than 24 hours.

The website comes with plenty of dynamic features including: popup music player, YouTube integration, catalog, guestbook, Facebook applications, Flash galleries that can be viewed on full screen and more…

We are pleased to announce that the long awaited web store for Gravity Entertainment from Switzerland, a store carrying more than 1000 items is finally online.  This shop has been migrated from an old osCommerce platform into one of the fastest growing eCommerce platforms being Opencart!

Farewell Steve Jobs! (1955-2011)

In Memoriam 1955-2011

It was quite shocking to hear that Steve Jobs passed away!  I remember the first time Apple launched its first product, and nowadays all these original gadgets.  However my main point is not about his products, but about his personality, philosophy, the way he shaped both business and technology, and last but not least his constant struggle with his health conditions.  That shows the spirit of a true dedicated hard working person.  A true example one shall follow!  You will never be forgotten!

My sincere condolences to his family and friends for this loss!

The release date of this EP will be postponed for several months ahead, as instructed by the label.

At the moment we are currently busy with various projects, and most of them are aimed to be
completed after September 2011.  Moreover few of our longstanding projects are on the way for finalization including:

- The most awaited 12 CD boxset (plus bonus) for Melek-Tha (fr) ‘H.P. Lovecraft’ planned to be launched in the upcoming months by First Fallen Star (us).
- The vinyl package for the reissue of Hypnos (cz) ‘The Revenge Ride’ to be released by the Czech label Monster Nation late this year which will include some bonus material. This album was originally released on CD by Morbid Records back in 2001.

The eCommerce package (built through Magento), the logo illustration plus a Facebook application for the Swiss shop Lilith Village are also launched and these can be viewed at www.lilith-village.ch.  As well the layout for the Lithuanian outfit F.O.A.D. has been completed and a new album will see the light hopefully by late this year. More information will be available from Inferna Profundus Records.

We are engaged with various projects for Cold Spring Records and a brand new eCommerce for Gravity Entertainment (ch). Also we are happy to announce that Eclipse Media was reassigned again by the
Melodic Death Metal Outfit Relinquished to produce the package for their second album entitled ‘Onwards Anguishes’ to be released by Noisehead Records (at).  This is the result of the successful collaboration we both had during the making of ‘Susanna Lies in Ashes’ CD.

In addition, Hypnos entrusted us to develop a brand new band website (www.hypnos-cz.com) which will be maintained by Eclipse Media.

Melek-Tha ‘H.P. Lovecraft’ (pre-ordering)

Finally the wait is gonna be over! The boxset for Melek-Tha will be completed quite soon. You can preview the boxset layouts on the First Fallen Star website, however please note that these layouts may face minor amendments, so the ending result may differ slightly from what you will see.

The Melek-Tha boxset comes in few different flavors consisting in few types of tentacle boxes varying by color. Interestingly enough, one tentacle box has a glow effect, that means that it glows in the dark (amusing eh? )

For those who are not fully aware, the Melek-Tha ‘H.P. Lovecraft’ boxset consists in previous album releases dedicated to Howard Philip Lovecraft, which were composed in junction with other artists of the same genre being: 47-Ashes (fr), A.E.P. (fr), Karna (ru), Posthuman Tantra (br), Silcharde (fr) and Xa-Mul (uk). The boxset comes with additional bonus material featuring occasional appearances by the French singer Vadi Strah. As one may expect, the musical genre is a mix of Industrial, Noise, Ambient, Sci-Fi, Sampling and other means of sound-scape.

First Fallen Star is already taking pre-orders for this limited edition boxset.

Hypnos latest album ‘Halfway To Hell’ is now available on LP version, released through the Czech-based record label Magick Disk Musick.

The LP comes with an additional wallet containing a photo collage (various gigs, recording, etc), and lyrics. Note that these photos and lyrics are not available on the CD (Digipack) version.

I presume that some of our new and returning users typed the name ‘Eclipse Media’ in the search engine (google, bing, yahoo…) and I also believe that you have encountered various Eclipse Media’s around, did you?

Probably you have already seen the text ‘Eclipse Media – ConsumerAffairs.com’ somewhere. Just to inform you that this belongs to ‘eclipsemedia.com’ an entity NOT related with Eclipse Media (eclipse-media.net), so please take a note!

Please note that we’ve been in existence for years under the guise of Eclipse Design and we’ve been servicing the music industry (mostly Ambient, Industrial and a bit of Metal) since early 1995.

Hypnos – In Blood We Trust – LP OUT NOW!

Finally the reissue of Hypnos debut release  ‘In Blood We Trust’ is finally out on LP through the Czech label Monster Nation.  We had the pleasure to work the LP layout and packaging.  For those who are familiar with that release, one can note that there isn’t much graphical difference in comparison with the original layout which was pressed on CD through the German (defunct) label Morbid Records back in year 2000.  However as instructed by the band, we had to keep the LP layout close to the previous version of the CD layout itself.

The LP version of  ‘In Blood We Trust’ also contains a bonus track,  featuring Mika Luttinen (Impaled Nazarene) on vocals.

The Czech Death Metal outfit Hypnos was formed back in 1999 by fellow musicians who are known for being previously involved with the Cult Death Metal outfit Krabathor.  The current band members are also involved with other outfits such as Root (yes the cult Czech band!), Sabathory and others…

Armagedda – Only True Believers (Gatefold LP)

Sometime ago we’ve been reached by the Lithuanian label Inferna Profundus Records to work out the package for the upcoming reissue of the Swedish (nowadays defunct) act Armagedda‘s album ‘Only True Believers’.  This album was originally pressed on CD through the Polish label Agonia Records.
