Finally the wait is gonna be over! The boxset for Melek-Tha will be completed quite soon. You can preview the boxset layouts on the First Fallen Star website, however please note that these layouts may face minor amendments, so the ending result may differ slightly from what you will see.
The Melek-Tha boxset comes in few different flavors consisting in few types of tentacle boxes varying by color. Interestingly enough, one tentacle box has a glow effect, that means that it glows in the dark (amusing eh? 
)
For those who are not fully aware, the Melek-Tha ‘H.P. Lovecraft’ boxset consists in previous album releases dedicated to Howard Philip Lovecraft, which were composed in junction with other artists of the same genre being: 47-Ashes (fr), A.E.P. (fr), Karna (ru), Posthuman Tantra (br), Silcharde (fr) and Xa-Mul (uk). The boxset comes with additional bonus material featuring occasional appearances by the French singer Vadi Strah. As one may expect, the musical genre is a mix of Industrial, Noise, Ambient, Sci-Fi, Sampling and other means of sound-scape.
First Fallen Star is already taking pre-orders for this limited edition boxset.

7 . 1 . 2011: Although it has been two months since our last posted news update here on the site, we remain hard at work on Melek-Tha’s “H.P. Lovecraft, Volumes 1-6″ set. Just a few images of some of the graphics, as well as the Tentacle Box, can be viewed at the temporary page linked below. We will begin taking pre-orders this summer just before finally sending everything off to the factory for manufacturing. (Pre-orders for the Tentacle Box must be paid in full!) You must subscribe to the First Fallen Star newsletter in order to be kept up to date on all details regarding pre-ordering. (Our apologies to our fellow labels, but we will not be trading the box set edition of this release.)

We are warning you now that the cost of shipping and handling for this heavy box set will not be cheap. We are ordering double-walled cardboard boxes just for shipping this item. As Dark Music Domain/First Fallen Star remains one of the ONLY entities in experimental music using all-new shipping materials, rather than garbage and pieces of cardboard taped around purchased albums, you can rest assured that your item will be shipped safely to you. However, we may make the purchase of shipping insurance mandatory by including it in the required cost of S&H. Fortunately for our international customers, the weight of the entire package will require the use of USPS Priority Mail International (non-negotiable), which already includes the cost of insurance!
No, we do not know the total weight of the ready-to-mail package. The Tentacle Box alone (with nothing inside of it) weighs 4.5 pounds!
