Highlight

Penitent is a project run by Karsten Hamre, one of the highly respected individuals in the ambient music scene. Karsten is also known for his other various projects like Arcane Art, Dense Vision Shrine, and last but not least Karsten Hamre (a project under his own name).

Penitent music can be described as a soundtrack including ambiance, orchestrations, instrumental and industrial, however it tends that each CD release vary by musical style.

Most releases were launched through various record labels like Dark Vinyl (DE), Memento Mori (DE), Thonar Records (DE), Eternal Pride Prod (RU), First Fallen Star, Hydra (UK), and more.
